1. What is a PACS System?
A PACS system (Picture Archiving & Communication System) is a medical imaging storage and transmission system that combines radiology, imaging medicine, digital image technology, computer technology, and communication technology. It transforms medical image data into a digital format through high-speed computing devices and communication networks. The system performs functions such as image information acquisition, storage, management, processing, and transmission, allowing for the effective management and full utilization of image data.

2. Application of Vision Products in Ultrasound Imaging Workstations
The ultrasound imaging workstation system is connected to various models of B-ultrasound and color Doppler ultrasound machines, enabling real-time acquisition, display, processing, and storage of ultrasound images. It uses full digital processing technology to dynamically capture various ultrasound images, adjusting acquisition speed, frame rate, and image playback speed. It also allows for various image processing functions such as filtering, histogram adjustments, brightness and contrast adjustments, magnification, and text annotations. Multiple measurement methods are provided to give clinical doctors more convenient instrument options.
Vision’s MV-800 and MV-750 professional image acquisition cards are widely used in ultrasound imaging workstations, medical endoscopes, electronic vaginal microscopes, and other medical equipment.

3. Application of Vision Products in CT Imaging Workstations
CT (Computed Tomography) is a commonly used but expensive medical diagnostic equipment. It has limited storage capacity, and image data cannot be easily exchanged with other devices. Hospitals often have to store laser prints for long periods, which increases costs and makes them difficult to manage and retrieve. CT imaging workstations provide a perfect solution for this problem by converting CT images into general computer formats for processing, storage, printing, and network transmission. This significantly reduces the cost of using CT equipment and facilitates easy access for doctors, aligning with the future development direction of hospitals and medical research. It is the best complement for CT systems.
Vision’s MV-M1000, MV-M2000, MV-VGA100, and MV-VGA200 are widely used in CT and ECT imaging workstations.

4. Application of Vision Products in X-ray Machines
Medical X-ray imaging workstations are connected to radiology and X-ray equipment to capture images and assist doctors in writing diagnostic reports and managing medical records. These systems can, to some extent, replace traditional film, with the ability to display captured images on multiple monitors for printing. They support both positive and negative image display, as well as circular and rectangular image capture. The system is flexible, easy to operate, and can significantly reduce costs while improving the efficiency of the department.
