1. Performance Overview

          The MT-YLG-XL-C0-04 is a fully automated pressure inspection system capable of testing up to 1,200 cans per minute. It adopts a contact-based online detection method, providing precise and direct measurement of the internal pressure characteristics of containers, with highly stable and reliable sampling data. Its accuracy surpasses that of similar domestic and international systems.

The core innovation lies in the belt squeeze detection technology, developed after more than three years of research and practical testing. In this process, a flexible conveyor belt transports the cans (or bottles), while sensors positioned alongside the belt detect the internal pressure variations. The collected signals are converted into digital data by the controller and further processed to provide a real-time reflection of container pressure and product quality.

6. Principle of Extrusion-Based Testing

         At the inlet, a guiding mechanism applies an initial controlled squeeze to ensure a consistent baseline pressure. During transport, containers suspected of leakage will release internal pressure, which is then detected at the outlet stage. A properly sealed container will show only minor changes, while a leaking or poorly sealed container will exhibit significant pressure loss. By comparing these values, the system reliably identifies leaks and sealing defects.

When a product passes the belt, it passes the positioning sensor, which detects its arrival and records the product's identification number and the current encoder signal through the control unit. The positioning sensor triggers the force sensor to measure the instantaneous pressure exerted by the product against the belt. This pressure data is then transmitted to the Maotong signal processing board via the network. The signal processing board processes and analyzes the received pressure data, transmitting the results to both the human-machine interface for dynamic display and the control unit. Upon receiving a rejection signal, the control unit notifies the rejector to remove the product with the corresponding identification number that fails the pressure requirement.


II. Equipment Installation

1. Equipment Loading, Unloading, and Storage

During transportation, the equipment must be secured and packaged, with particular attention to preventing the sensor from being subjected to pressure or tension. The exterior of the equipment must be wrapped with moisture-proof, impact-resistant material to prevent scratches, dents, and moisture. The equipment must be secured to the transport vehicle to prevent damage during movement. When unloading the equipment, use specialized loading equipment and ensure that the equipment is securely mounted on the loading equipment to prevent slipping. During use and storage, the ambient environment must meet certain requirements: relative humidity should be between 10% and 80%, and temperature between 0°C and 50°C.

II. Installation Guidelines

2.1 Install the equipment in a horizontal position, ensuring that the clamping conveyor belt is perfectly aligned with the product’s bottom conveyor belt.

2.2 Before powering on, inspect all cables to confirm that there are no loose connections and verify that the rack control box is properly grounded.

2.3 Connect the power supply as required: single-phase AC 220V, 50Hz, with a total power consumption of 250W.

2.4 Properly connect the compressed air supply, maintaining a pressure between 4–8 bar, and ensure that air quality complies with industry standards.

2.5 For optimal detection accuracy, testing should be performed after the product has cooled. The equipment should be installed on a straight conveyor section with a length of 1.5–2 meters.

IV. Safety Instructions

Before operating the system, please observe the following precautions:

  1. Only trained personnel may operate the equipment.

  2. Maintenance must be performed by qualified technicians.

  3. Verify that all warning labels and safety devices are in place before operation.

  4. Never operate the machine with the cover open; remove the cover only when both power and compressed air have been shut off.

  5. Keep hands and body parts away from the reject cylinder linkage while the machine is running.

  6. Do not obstruct or touch the photoelectric switch during operation, as this may cause unintended reject actions and pose safety hazards.

  7. Do not disconnect any electrical connections while the unit is powered on to avoid damage to components.

  8. During maintenance, mark the equipment clearly to prevent accidental injury.

  9. When connecting external devices, ensure both systems are powered off. Connect properly before restoring power.

  10. Since internal components are sensitive to static discharge, always ensure proper grounding of the frame and control cabinet.


V. Commercial Terms

  1. Delivery: Equipment will be delivered and installed at the purchaser’s production site.

  2. Warranty: 12 months from the date of acceptance, not exceeding 14 months from the shipping date.

  3. Post-Warranty Service: For two years after the warranty period, only travel and spare parts costs will be charged for engineer visits.

  4. Routine Inspections: Two engineer visits per year (two days each) can be scheduled at the purchaser’s request, with only spare parts billed. Notification must be provided by fax at least two weeks in advance.

  5. Software Support: Free lifetime software upgrades will be provided without requiring additional hardware modifications.

  6. Service Response: Upon receiving a written service request, the supplier will dispatch an engineer to the purchaser’s facility within 72 hours (mainland China).
