Plastic bottle mouth inspection machine
Using high-speed camera to acquisiton mouth image of bottle, the processing speed is fast,up to 50000 BPH
Using 15 inch touch screen, intuitive display
Specially made bowl shaped light source is adopted, the mouth of the bottle is uniformly light, and the utility
model has the advantages of no dead angle, long service life and energy saving
The inspection machine is stable and the error rate is low
The Bottle Mouth Inspection Machine employs advanced machine vision technology to perform fully automated, non-contact, real-time inspections of PET bottle mouth deformation and damage. It is designed for a rated capacity of 48,000 bottles per hour and is suitable for use with both PET and PE bottles.
Environmental Requirements
Altitude: Optimal operating range between 5–3000 meters above sea level.
Ambient Temperature: 5°C–40°C.
Relative Humidity: 50%–65% RH.
Factory Conditions: The workshop floor must meet national standards for flatness and load-bearing capacity to ensure proper machine operation.
Storage Conditions: Upon delivery, all components and equipment must be stored in compliance with national standards. During storage, apply proper lubrication and maintenance to prevent corrosion, surface damage, or deformation that may affect installation, commissioning, or long-term performance.
Equipment Operating Requirements
Noise Level: ≤ 85 dB (actual noise varies with container type, machine power, and building acoustics).
Power Supply:
Main Power: 3 × 380V AC ±10%, 50 Hz, 3PH + N + PE
Lighting Power: 220V AC, 50 Hz, single-phase
Control Voltage: 24 VDC
Total Power Consumption: Approx. 1.0 kW
(For non-standard voltages, advance notification is required; equipment specs, delivery schedule, and pricing may be adjusted accordingly.)
Compressed Air: 4–6 bar, with piping supplied by the customer to connect the air source to the main unit.

System Operating Principle and Workflow
As each bottle moves along the line, it passes the positioning sensor, which detects its presence and records both the bottle’s ID and the current encoder value through the control unit.
The positioning sensor then triggers the camera to capture an image of the bottle mouth. The acquired image is analyzed by the image processor, and the processed results are transmitted to both the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) for real-time display and the control unit to determine whether rejection is required.
If the system identifies a defective bottle mouth, the control unit issues a rejection command, notifying the rejector to remove the bottle with the corresponding ID.
4.3 Image Acquisition Components
Light Source:
The system employs an LED area light source with a service life of up to 30,000 hours. Using foreground illumination, it highlights the measurement area, making the bottle mouth appear as a continuous bright ring in the captured image. A manual-aperture, fixed-focus lens is applied. By adjusting the focus ring, the image can be precisely aligned with the CCD target surface, while the aperture ring is used to fine-tune brightness.Camera:
An area-array CCD analog camera is utilized, offering a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels and a frame rate of up to 60 frames per second, ensuring accurate and high-speed image acquisition.
