The Bottle Mouth Inspection Machine utilizes advanced machine vision inspection technology to conduct fully automatic and non-contact online inspection of the deformation and damage of PET bottle mouths. The rated output is 48,000 bottles per hour. Suitable for PET/PE bottles.

System Operating Principle and Process
As a bottle passes the positioning sensor, the sensor detects its presence and, via the control unit, records the bottle ID along with the current encoder value.
The positioning sensor simultaneously triggers the camera to capture an image of the bottle mouth. Once acquired, the image is processed by the image processor, and the results are sent to the human–machine interface for real-time display as well as to the control unit for preparation to reject bottles with defective mouths.
When the control unit receives a defect signal, it instructs the rejector to remove the bottle associated with the corresponding ID.
4.3 Image Acquisition Components
Light Source: An LED area light source with a service life of up to 30,000 hours is employed. Using front illumination, it highlights the details of the inspected object clearly. In the captured image, the bottle mouth appears as a continuous bright ring. A manual-aperture fixed-focus lens is used. The focus ring is adjusted to ensure maximum clarity on the CCD sensor surface, while the aperture ring is adjusted to optimize image brightness.
Camera: An area-array CCD analog camera is used, offering a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels and capable of capturing up to 60 frames per second.
