Visual Inspection Solution for Beverage Bottle Count

Project Overview

Water, as an essential energy source for human life, has always played a crucial role in people's lives. With the development of social production and changing consumer demand, a variety of beverages made from water have emerged. These beverages have given water a variety of new flavors and are highly sought after by consumers. For beverage manufacturers, the booming sales of their products have also brought new challenges. To meet market demand and expand their market, they have increased production. Traditional manual factory inspection methods are no longer able to keep up, forcing them to seek new solutions. Machine vision is used to inspect the number of beverage bottles in a box.

Solution

An industrial camera is installed at an appropriate location directly above the assembly line. As the boxes containing beverage bottles move along the assembly line, the camera detects the boxes, captures images, and counts the bottles within the boxes, sending the counted results to the control console.

A standard box should contain 25 bottles. If the detected number is 25, the box displays "OK." If the detected number is less than 25, it indicates that a bottle is missing, indicating "NG" and an alarm.
